My interest

My name is Yuzhou Chang, and my major is in immuno-informatics. I am honored to be co-mentored by Drs. Qin Ma and Zihai Li. Initially, my work revolved around the analysis of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq). However, the advent of spatial technology, which furnishes spatial information, opened a new avenue for studying multi-cellular functions from a tissue-functional unit perspective. Therefore, my profound interest has transitioned towards the development of spatial transcriptomics software, and its applications in immuno-oncology. The synergy between spatial transcriptomics and immuno-oncology could potentially unfold new dimensions in understanding tumor biology and the host immune response, creating a robust platform for more integrated and insightful analysis. This interdisciplinary approach, bridging spatial transcriptomics with immuno-informatics, stands as a cornerstone for my academic and research pursuits, promising a fertile ground for innovative solutions in cancer immunotherapy.
